My power cord for my laptop stopped working, and he diagnosed the problem and found that the problem was with the connection between the AC power cord and the converter brick. Although he could have sold me a whole new adapter, by diagnosing the problem he determined that I just needed a new cord, which saved me a bunch of money. This is an honest business. Just call ahead before you go because it's a one man shop and he has to run errands during the day.
